Barcelona hosts the Tratu On+ Kick-off meeting

16/03/2026

On 16 and 17 March 2026, the Tratu on+ Kick-off Meeting took place in Barcelona.

Over the course of the two-day meeting, representatives from Fundación EDE, Bidegintza, Fundació Pere Tarrés, Sant Joan de Déu, ESADE, the Basque Government and Linking Ideas shared approaches, methodologies and lines of action, advancing the definition of the work plan that will guide the project through to December 2027.

In addition to addressing organisational and technical matters, the meeting enabled the teams to meet in person and strengthen the relationships that will support the implementation of the project across the different territories involved.

Tratu on+ brings together social organisations, public institutions, professionals and academic entities that share a common conviction: creating protective environments for children and adolescents requires collaboration, shared knowledge and a community-based approach. The strength of the project lies in the complementarity of the participating organisations, which bring expertise in areas such as child protection, social innovation, research, communication, community participation and public policy.

This diversity will enable us to combine on-the-ground work, scientific evidence and institutional validation to generate knowledge, develop transferable tools and contribute to building more protective, connected and better-prepared communities that can support children and adolescents in their development and wellbeing.
