Pilot Projects

Tratu on+ pilot projects are practical experimentation spaces designed to address specific challenges related to child and adolescent protection, participation and wellbeing.

We work on real-world issues: improving coordination among stakeholders, fostering cultures of positive care, strengthening the participation of children and adolescents, and transforming legal and policy frameworks into meaningful everyday practice.

In each territory, we test tools and methodologies in diverse contexts, generating transferable learning and evidence that can benefit other communities and environments.

The pilots are community-based processes involving schools, social organisations, families, public administrations and professionals from different sectors — including education, social services, healthcare, sports and justice. Because protecting children and adolescents is not the responsibility of a single organisation, but the result of collective collaboration.

Each experience aims to strengthen shared capacities and demonstrate that safeguarding is not simply a one-off intervention, but a way of organising and supporting community life.

Children and adolescents at the centre

At Tratu on+, children and adolescents are at the heart of the conversation about positive care, coexistence and protection. Their voices are essential to understanding how safe environments are built — or broken — in everyday life. For too long, those voices have only been heard in the background.

When children and adolescents stop being passive subjects of consultation and become active agents who interpret, question and propose solutions, the system begins to change.

This space brings together audiovisual content created by and with children and adolescents from different contexts and territories. These pieces speak from lived experience and through their own perspectives, connecting rights, emotions, community and future.
