On 6 and 7 July 2026, professionals from EDE Fundazioa, Bidegintza, Fundació Pere Tarrès and Fundació Sant Joan de Déu met in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona) to prepare the pilot projects that will be carried out during the 2026–2027 academic year in the Basque Country, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.
Over the two days, those responsible for launching and facilitating the pilots had the opportunity to get to know one another, share experiences and develop a common vision for the work to be carried out in the different territories during the project’s next phase. The meeting also provided an opportunity to review and define the content framework that will underpin the training of community stakeholders, social organisations and public authorities joining the process.
Tratu on+ will launch five pilot projects: two in the Basque Country—one in Biscay and another in Gipuzkoa—two in the province of Barcelona and one in the Balearic Islands. Over a twelve-month period, these projects will develop and test a positive care model that can be adapted and applied in different contexts.
From September onwards, the teams will confirm the participation of local councils and local organisations working in the social, educational, cultural, sports and leisure sectors. The collective training and working processes will begin in early October.
